#what i love about this movie #is that it challenges and subverts the tropes of the genre it so lovingly pays homage to #it’s meta to the nth degree #and yet still a fabulous horror film in its own right #just the right balance of humor and gore #characters you actually love and root for #stellar dialogue #understandable villains #emotion and great special effects #IT’S SUCH A GOOD MOVIE AND IT GIVES ME SO MANY GODDAMNED FEELS AND I COULD WRITE A WHOLE THESIS ON THIS MOVIE #cabin in the woods
